American Legion Riders

The Legion Riders at Post 166 are a family of motorcycle-riding Legionnaires, Auxiliary, and SAL members who serve veterans and our community from the saddle. We organize and support charity rides, welcome and escort service members, stand flag lines at ceremonies, and raise funds for scholarships like the American Legion Legacy Scholarship. You will see our chapter at remembrance events, parades, and mission-focused rides throughout the Lowcountry.

Who can join

  • You must be a current member in good standing of The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, or Sons of The American Legion.
  • You must be a legally registered motorcycle owner, or the legally registered owner’s spouse.
  • Operators must be properly licensed and insured, and all members follow state motor-vehicle laws.

Get involved
Interested riders are welcome to connect with Post 166 for meeting times, ride schedules, and upcoming service opportunities. Our chapter has a long history of local rides and fundraisers in Goose Creek, and we are always excited to welcome new members who want to ride with a purpose.
