Our Post Family
Our Post Family is a team of sister organizations that work side by side to serve veterans, their families, and the community. Each group has its own traditions and projects, and together they make our Post stronger. New members and volunteers are always welcome.
American Legion Auxiliary
The Auxiliary is open to eligible family members of veterans and service members. They lead many of our community programs, from scholarship support and Girls State sponsorships to holiday outreach and meal trains for veterans in need. Auxiliary members are the heart of our hospitality at events and a constant source of care for local families.
Honor Guard
The Honor Guard renders final military honors at funerals, posts the colors at ceremonies, and leads flag retirements and other observances. Members train regularly to maintain sharp, dignified standards. If you feel called to this solemn and important duty, this is a meaningful way to serve.
American Legion Riders
The Riders are members of the Legion Family who enjoy motorcycling and service. They organize charitable rides, support funeral escorts, and raise funds for veteran support, youth programs, and community needs. Safety, camaraderie, and mission come first at every event.
Sons of the American Legion (SAL)
SAL is for male descendants of veterans who are eligible for American Legion membership. SAL members support Post projects, color guards, flag education, and youth outreach. It’s a great way for sons and grandsons to learn leadership and serve alongside the Post.
Tin Can Sailors
Our Tin Can Sailors group honors the legacy of United States Navy destroyer crews and all who served at sea. Members preserve naval history, share sea stories, support shipmates, and participate in community education and remembrance events. Navy veterans and friends who care about destroyer heritage will feel at home here.
